Discipline Through Movement
Discipline Starts in the Body
My relationship with fitness has taught me more than just how to stay in shape, it’s shown me how to stay consistent, even when motivation runs out.
Working out is where I sharpen my discipline. It's where I challenge myself every day, push through resistance, and develop routines that I carry into every other part of my life. Whether I’m hitting a 6 AM workout or squeezing in a lift between meetings, the structure and commitment I build in the gym shows up in how I work, lead, and live.
Discipline creates freedom. It creates momentum. And in a world full of distractions, it keeps me focused on what actually matters.
Flow State in the Water
Surfing Keeps Me Present
There’s nothing quite like catching a wave. Surfing forces you to be completely present: to listen, to feel, to move with the ocean instead of fighting it. It humbles you.
I love the physical side of it, sure. But for me, surfing is mental. It reminds me that progress comes from patience. That you can’t force timing in the water or in life.
Surfing recharges me creatively, physically, and mentally. It clears my head, resets my nervous system, and reminds me to flow instead of force.
Adrenaline + Adventure
Mountain Biking Builds My Focus
When I’m on a trail, everything else fades. Every bump, every turn, every drop demands focus. Mountain biking pulls me out of my head and into my body, which for someone constantly building, thinking, and creating, is a necessary reset.
I love the challenge, the speed, and the connection to nature. Riding tough terrain mirrors life: sometimes it’s rough, but if you stay locked in and trust your instincts, you’ll find flow. It’s a powerful reminder to stay present and stay agile as well as living in the present moment and enjoying the ride.
Perspective Through Travel
Travel Shapes My Lens
Travel is how I expand my perspective. Every place I’ve been, from national parks to new countries, teaches me something about how other people live, think, and value life.
It forces me to slow down and understand culture. This is how I learn to listen better, which helps tremendously with building relationships. It makes me a better creator, a better founder, and a better human.
Whether I’m hiking in Yosemite, biking in the desert, or walking through a city I’ve never seen before, I’m reminded that the world is bigger than me. And that perspective is everything.
Balanced By Discipline
I Live What I Build
The life I live reflects the brand I’m building. Wellness, movement, mindfulness, creativity... it’s all connected.
These passions keep me aligned with my purpose. They help me stay sharp, stay curious, and stay grounded.
At the core of everything I do is a belief: with the right perspective and discipline, you can create balance, even in chaos.
